Southgate Centre offers a total of over 4,000 outdoor and covered parking stalls. Acres of parking spots are on the surface areas of the parking lot. In addition, there are upper parking decks on the east and west sides of the property. Our west parkade features digital technology which displays the amount of parking stalls available at any given time.
There are 5 main Centre entrances on the main ground level, and are identified by signage: North, South, West, Northeast, and Southeast. Our smaller upper level features Blu's Women's Wear, Eveline Charles and Administration. For closest access to these stores, park at the upper west parkade.
Upper Deck Parking
Hudson's Bay, Sears and Crate & Barrel are all accessible from our second level parking decks. Sears is accessible via the East and West side of the parking deck, while Hudson's Bay is accessible from the West. Crate & Barrel is accessible from level 2 of our parkade, located on the Southwest side of the building.
Bicycle racks are available at all Centre entrances. Cyclists are reminded to ensure they lock their bicycles when visiting the Centre.
Parking Lot Maintenance and Security
All parking lot areas receive a high standard of maintenance and upkeep, including snow removal, and gravel and salt applications during the winter months. Parking lot areas are well lit, monitored and patrolled by security officers on a regular basis. An exterior parking lot security bike patrol is deployed during the spring, summer and winter months. Visitors at Southgate are reminded to ensure they leave vehicles locked and valuables out of sight or locked in the trunk.
Forget to turn your lights off? Left the keys in the car? Southgate maintenance and security personnel are available to provide assistance should you need a boost, if keys are locked in the car, or should an escort be required. Assistance can be arranged by visiting our Customer Service Centre.
Southgate is private property and does not tolerate or encourage park-and-riders. All identified park-and-riders will be tagged and ticketed.
EV Charging Stations
Southgate is pleased to be the first shopping centre in Edmonton to provide its patrons with two electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in partnership with Koch Ford Lincoln. The two charging stations are located on the second level parkade (access via south ramp).
