Southgate is easily accessible with a main bus terminal and new Southgate LRT station on the west side of the building. With the new LRT station, Southgate is only a 30-minute train ride away from Clareview, and a 15-minute ride from downtown. Being green has never been so easy!
The following is information relating to the bus routes that stop in front of Southgate on 111 street south of 51st avenue and at the bottom of the north driveway in front of Safeway.
The bus routes that leave the Southgate Terminal and travel east on 51st Avenue with a stop at Bus Stop (B) are:
# 6 facing northbound (will say Millgate or Mill Woods Transit Centres on the marquee, depending on time of day)
- departs Monday to Friday starting at 5:31AM with the last one leaving at 1:00AM (approx. every 15 minutes)
- departs Saturdays commencing at 5:59AM with the last departure at 1:00AM (every half hour in the morning & late night; every 15 minutes during the day)
- departs Sunday from 6:29AM with the final bus at 12:30AM (every 30 minutes)
# 52 facing northbound (marquee reads Downtown)
- departs Monday to Friday starting at 6:00AM with the last one leaving at 12:00AM. (every 30 minutes and every 15 minutes during peak times)
- departs Saturdays commencing at 7:30AM with the last departure at 12:30AM (every 30 minutes)
- departs Sundays from 8:00AM. with the final bus at 10:00PM (approx. once per hour)
# 80 facing northbound (marquee reads Capilano)
- departs Monday to Friday starting at 6:00 a.m. until 6:55 p.m. (every 15 minutes during peak times, and every 30 minutes during the day)
- Does not operate on the weekend
